Chuks is a dynamic and self-driven Human Resources professional, with skills and experiences in HR strategy, Executive search, personnel direction, process development, learning & development, management of compensation and benefits programs, HR policy design & implementation, performance management, expatriate management, welfare, talent management, employee relations, job profiling & evaluation, succession planning, business partnering, labour law and statutory compliance, HR communication & office management. He is based in Nigeria.

His achievements so far include;

HR Franchise Set-up:

He set-up the Human Resources Franchise of FMDQ OTC Securities Exchange (a security exchange and self-regulatory organization) where he was given the mandate to put structure, policies and processes in place from scratch.

Recruitment & Exit Management:

As the Head of Resourcing at Guaranty Trust Bank PLC (GTBank), he was involved in University and Polytechnic Storms; to attract prospective candidates. He has also implemented new recruiting processes, created programs that did not exist which increased the candidate pipeline in a shallow marketplace.

Compensation & Benefits:

He was responsible for employee compensation and benefits policy making, the implementation of total Rewards strategy in companies and also developed and worked on Payroll for different staff cadres from 2006 till date in different companies. He has managed payroll and developed pay structures for outsources staff while using Softwares (HRIS) for core staff members.

Performance Management:

As the Performance Management Officer during his employment in Guaranty Trust Bank, Chuks introduced Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) to the Bank. The 3 months’ initiative helped the bottom 5 employees that (2013) improve their performances and 90% of staff on the program were retained.

HRIS & Database Management:

Chuks has been managing human resource information system (HRIS) soft wares for the past 9 (nine) years. He has also been the sole administrator of these softwares and has used online solutions for data entry, data tracking, performance management, leave administration and data information needs of the human resources department, payroll management, Expatriate management and accounting functions in banks and consulting firm

He holds a Masters of Managerial Psychology (MMP) degree, an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources (ADHR) and a BSc. (Hons) Economics and Statistics.
